Les fabricants de tournevis pouvant servir aux intervenants en électricité indique souvent la tension d'isolement entre la partie isolante et la partie électrique, idem sur les pinces ...

Peut être si on avait envie de "jouer" à coté de la bobine HT ou des antiparasites des bougies.

Comme expliqué par Olivier. Tension d'isolement maxi admissible.

As explained by Olivier it is the max voltage protection in case your screwdriver would get in touch with the HT wires while you look at your engine.
It could happen huh. Imagine your brats coming around while you finish tightening a hose in the rear hood engine running bothering you to have a blast in the toy.
You just explain that you need to finish what ya doin'' before getting out with the car.

And they keep on asking (as all kids around the world do until they have what they want ) You're getting a bit nervous and suddenly your screwdriver slids off the screw and rips the HT protection and.....


If no 10000v protection you'd have finished like a Xmas tree in the garage which would have entertained a lot your kids but for sure not you

I know I got a pretty prolific imagination
